                <p>So you want to try your hand at editing your own audio…</p><p>The first thing is to get some audio editing software. You can download a copy of Audacity for free off the Internet (legitimately, by the way - it's free software - just do a search with the words "Audacity free audio software").</p><p>It's not the best audio editing software in the world, but you can't beat free, right?<br />Audio editing software generally comes in two "flavors" – stereo and multichannel (also called multitrack). A stereo editor is more limiting because you can only work with two channels of audio at any given time: left and right, while a multitrack editor lets you add as many tracks as you need. For example, you could add one track for your voice, another track for a voiceover person, one for music and yet another for sound effects. Each track can be edited separately and can have it's own settings.</p><p>Once you have your software, the next thing is to get your audio into the computer. You can either record your content directly into the program (you'll need to connect a microphone to your computer to do this) – or you can import your recordings that were recorded on another machine. These days, most recorders are USB compatible and they appear as an external drive when you connect them to your computer. It's just a matter of connecting a USB cable and dragging the files into your computer. After that's done, just use the "open" command in the file menu of your software to open your audio files.      <!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

<br />Even though there are a bunch of intimidating-looking controls, just think of this as a "word processor for audio". It works basically the same way – you can cut, copy, paste and rearrange things as you see fit. Most of what people do when they are editing audio is removing things that shouldn't be there – from clicks, pops, burps, coughs and other unwanted noises, to whole sections of content that may not be relevant. For example, if it's a live seminar, there may be all sorts of logistics information that mattered to participants at the time, but isn't relevant at all to an info product – like the location of the bathrooms to how to get parking validated to what time the lunch breaks were happening.<p>In an audio editing program, what you're looking at is "amplitude over time". In other words, the volume of the signal as time goes by. The display is "left to right" with the start of the recording on the left of the screen and the end on the right. Selecting and deleting audio is really very simple. You drag over it with your mouse and hit the delete key. In some programs, that will leave a space that needs to be closed up by moving the remaining audio to the left, while in other programs (like Audacity), the space is closed up automatically.</p>
<p>Other things you can do while editing is boost or cut volume, take out specific frequencies using equalization, fade audio in and out (music, for example) and mix things together.</p><p>When you're done with your edits, you can save the file and/or export your mix in variety of different formats.</p>                <!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

          <p>We are all aware of the fact that it is a very tedious process to ensure that the attendance in schools and colleges are genuine and there is no influence of proxy attendance. Today, majority of schools and colleges are facing a challenge to ensure that the attendance recorded in their respective institutes are genuine and not been tampered with. However, this is a challenge indeed for many to execute in their organizations. Most of the colleges/organizations still use very traditional forms of attendance systems even today. First we have the system of register attendance wherein one signs against their names and puts down the time they have entered office. The problem with this technique is that if they have no one to monitor; the employees/students put in any time they feel like. There have been times when people have come an hour late but in the register they have entered a wrong time. There are other methods such as appointing a guard, or a watchdog to check the exact time one comes to their office or school, but again they are not full proof methods to verify the same. In today's modern world some companies are apply the concept of Biometric Attendance System, which identifies the exact time an individual enters the office through finger prints. There is also the face recognition system which companies are trying to deploy in order to ensure more transparency in their attendance. However, there is one way in which one can ensure that the student/employee has recorded the correct time of entry or exit – this is VMS – Video Messaging and Mailing Service.</p>

<p>Jumlah penumpang meningkat tajam dari 1,66 miliar orang pada satu dekade lalu, kata <em>Xinhua</em>. “Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan alasan peningkatan itu. Pendapatan yang lebih tinggi dan fasilitas transportasi yang lebih baik memudahkan orang untuk bepergian,” kata Xu Guangjian, Wakil Dekan Renmin University School &#111;&#102; Public Administration di Beijing.</p>
<p>Rata-rata 2.265 kereta per hari akan membawa para pemudik selama jangka waktu itu, kata Wakil Menteri Kereta Api Wang Zhiguo. Ia menambahkan, seperti dilaporkan media pemerintah, hampir 300 kereta api tambahan dikerahkan untuk membawa 230 juta penumpang, yang diperkirakan terjadi selama puncak periode mudik tersebut.</p>
<p>Banyak pekerja migran memutuskan kembali ke rumah lebih awal tahun ini demi menghemat uang karena biaya keperluan seperti makanan meningkat begitu cepat di kota-kota. A servo mechanism shifts the main pulley to change between the seven gear ratios amazingly quickly. During deceleration, if the rider omit to change gear manually, the control system intervenes to change down automatically, preventing engine speed from dropping below the set threshold and providing another valuable aid to active safety.</p> <p>- Fully automatic mode (Autodrive): Sophisticated electronics assume control over everything, and the CVT transmission keeps the engine running at maximum torque speed for optimum pickup and acceleration. The Sportgear transmission offers a choice of three mappings:<br />Touring: for minimum consumption and maximum usability.<br />Sport: for top performance with blistering acceleration<br />Rain: for use on wet or slippery roads</p> <p>Semi-Autodrive mode allows the rider only to change down independently. This is particularly useful for overtaking at maximum torque revs or for boosting engine braking when riding down a hill. You can switch from Autodrive to Sequential mode and back at any time, irrespective of riding conditions. The handlebar gearshift control can also be disabled from the dashboard. The revolutionary transmission system of the Aprilia Mana 850 in no way reduces the pleasure of motorcycling. If anything, it adds the thrill of lightning fast gear changes and improves the performance of the engine under acceleration and on fast roads. A click of the switch is all that is needed to switch from one mode to the other, from relaxed cruising to exhilarating sports riding. With an engine and transmission like this, the potential of your motorcycle has never been greater. The 90° V engine configuration, chosen for torque and power delivery, is the perfect match for this type of transmission. The engine delivers 76 horsepower at the crank and well in excess of 7 kgm of torque (at 5,000 rpm). Most important of all is an extremely flat power curve that translates into plenty of ready power even at low revs.</p> <p>These specifications clearly express the performance of this unique motorcycle, which easily beats other nakeds of similar displacement thanks to its amazing acceleration. The four valves per cylinder are operated by a single chain driven overhead camshaft, a solution that combines ease of maintenance with effective performance. As is traditional for Aprilia’s big bike engines, lubrication is provided by a dry sump system, with a separate oil reservoir integrated inside the engine to minimise overall weight. Efficient engine breathing is ensured by a generous size filter box and exhaust system. The electronic engine management system incorporates a sophisticated Weber Marelli electronic fuel injection unit with a single 38 mm throttle body and twin spark ignition. These two technical solutions combine to guarantee optimal combustion at all engine speeds, maximum thermodynamic efficiency, and therefore amazing performance despite low emissions. The Mana’s high performance engine respects the environment too. The stainless steel exhaust incorporates a catalytic converter and a Lambda probe oxygen sensor to bring emissions well within the limits established by Euro 3.</p> <p>FRAME<br />The handling of the Aprilia Mana 850 is not just the result of a revolutionary engine but of an advanced chassis too. As with all Aprilia motorcycles, the frame of the Mana 850 has been developed in parallel with the engine to ensure the sort of harmony between engine and chassis that has always distinguished Aprilia motorcycles.</p> <p>The robust steel tube trellis frame sets new standards for this class of machine and ensures top level handling in line with the characteristics of the innovative engine. The single piece aluminium swingarm is damped by a monoshock that is laterally offset to free up space for the exhaust pipe behind the engine and make the motorcycle more compact. The Mana 850 has a wheelbase of only 1,463 mm, extremely short for a naked, even a sports model.</p> <p>SUSPENSION<br />On all Aprilias, the excellence of the chassis is maximised by an ideal suspension configuration and setup. The 43 mm upside down fork slides easily and features an optimised setup for excellent performance even under sport riding conditions. 120 mm of front wheel travel lets you tackle all sorts of road surface. At the rear, the monoshock is operated directly by the swingarm without intermediary linkages, and offers adjustments for spring preload and hydraulic rebound damping. <p>“Daerahnya sepi karena hamparan sawah yang luas, paling hanya satu atau dua rumah di situ. Diapit tiga bukit yaitu Gunung Suru, Candi Abang, dan Gunung Bangkel,” ujar salah seorang warga setempat<span></span>, Pradhita Wahyu, kepada detikcom, Senin (24/1/2011).</p>
<p>Karena jarak yang cukup jauh dari pemukiman warga inilah, tak banyak warga yang tahu proses pembentukan lingkaran aneh berdiameter 70 meter ini. Namun seorang anak kecil sempat melihat ada pusaran angin puting beliung yang membentuk lingkaran aneh ini.</p>
<p>Para ahli pernah meneliti pembentukan crop circle yang terbentuk di persawahan yang diapit oleh bukit. Sejumlah ahli pun menyimpulkan bahwa crop circle di lokasi terjepit perbukitan disebabkan oleh angin tornado.</p>
<p>Ahli fisika dari Universitas Michigan, &#65;&#83;, Delon Smith, menuturkan bahwa angin tornado adalah sebab utama yang menyebabkan lingkaran aneh itu. Melalui risetnya dia mendapati bahwa sejumlah besar lingkaran aneh di ladang gandum yang muncul di sisi gunung, dimana tempat seperti ini adalah tempat yang mudah membentuk angin tornado.</p>
<p>Jika benar angin puting beliung yang ‘menggambar’ lingkaran aneh di Sleman, apakah angin tornado dapat membuat lingkaran yang simetris? Hingga saat ini ilmuwan belum menemukan jawabannya.</p>
<p>Sebelumnya diberitakan, warga Sleman, Yogyakarta, dihebohkan oleh tanda misterius di persawahan yang muncul usai angin kencang. Warga setempat meyakini tanda yang berbentuk lingkaran raksasa tersebut sebagai pendaratan  pesawat ‘UFO’ dari planet lain.</p>
<p>Lambang tersebut berbentuk lingkaran berdiameter 70 meter. Di tengah lingkaran raksasa tersebut terdapat lambang misterius. Tanda tersebut dibentuk oleh hamparan padi yang rebah setelah angin kencang tersebut.</p>
<p>Pihak Kepolisian pun membenarkan munculnya lambang misterius ‘UFO’ tersebut. Polisi bahkan sudah mengabadikan peristiwa langka tersebut. (detiknews.com)</p>
